The combat could use some love, as well as the loot that drops from these combat encounters. Armour and weapons should feel more interesting to find, and the balance needs a fair bit of work to not feel jarring.
You can't really make these items until you get to the mid-game, either, so take advantage of the Core's Waypoint in the early game and build your base near it!
Between dodging all the projectiles that will 2 shot me, and having to keep moving away from the boss, yet somehow also having to be able to be in the right position to kill all the summons that heal it, absolutely sucks and is not fun at all. I was hav...
Glurch can jump quite far; when Glurch lands, it can destroy any wall tiles nearby. You'll want to make sure that you don't accidentally lead Glurch toward your base. Make sure you have plenty of room to move around!

Enemy Spawns: Enemies are unintentionally spawning outside of enclosed rooms when their spawners are inside. This is enough to give anybody agoraphobia and it's not intended at all!
Malugaz, on the other hand, requires a special item. You'll need to collect 3 Crystal Skull Shards, put them on your Hotbar, and right-click in order to craft a Skull of the Corrupted Shaman. You must then place this on Malugaz's rune in order to summon him.

TL;DR: Core keeper is a game with potential, but with very shallow progression systems that can make it feel repetitive very quickly.
And I've got a nice dirt patch where I can plunk down seeds, I dug a long trench from a pond all the way to my base so I can fill my watering can without having to venture out, and I've even got a patch of rock set up to grow my new carrots (they're actually called carrocks, since they only grow on rock). Rather than giving you recipes and telling you what Core Keeper Gameplay ingredients you need, you just take two ingredients—any two ingredients, even two of the same ingredient—throw them in the pot, and see what comes out.
I really liked playing this game, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I would go mad if I have to play it with a Magic dmg or Summon class, or if I didnt change to Ranged with the endgame bosses.
